Your final stop is a journey into the soul of the city—Al-Balad, the historic old town of Jeddah. This UNESCO-listed district is a sensory feast: winding alleyways, ancient coral stone buildings, traditional souks, and the aroma of local spices in the air. Important Dress Code for Madinah
As a mark of respect in this sacred city:
Begin your visit at the Museum of the Prophet’s Mosque, where immersive exhibits, ancient artifacts, and multimedia presentations bring to life the story of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Discover details about his life, character, teachings, and the early Islamic era—all within a beautifully curated space that inspires reflection and reverence.
Next, visit the magnificent Prophet’s Mosque, one of the holiest sites in Islam and a cornerstone of Madinah’s identity. Built by the Prophet himself and expanded over centuries, it’s a sacred place of prayer and peace. Stand in the courtyard, witness the architectural beauty, and if permitted, offer prayers inside and pay your respects at the Prophet’s resting place.
Travel to Mount Uhud, the site of the historic Battle of Uhud in 625 AD. Your guide will walk you through this pivotal moment in Islamic history, recounting the story of the battle, its lessons, and the lives of the companions who made the ultimate sacrifice. The site also includes the martyrs’ cemetery—a place of deep reflection.
Visit the renowned Qiblatain Mosque, where the direction of prayer (qibla) was divinely changed from Jerusalem to Mecca. This mosque holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims and marks a crucial spiritual milestone.
A stop at Quba Mosque is a highlight of any Madinah visit. As the first mosque ever built by the Prophet Muhammad after his migration from Mecca, it symbolizes faith, unity, and simplicity. Pilgrims often seek the reward of an umrah by offering prayers here, surrounded by its serene and spiritual ambiance.
End the day by wandering through Madinah’s traditional souks, where you’ll find fragrant dates, handmade prayer beads, spices, and textiles. These vibrant markets offer a glimpse into the daily life and hospitality of the city’s people—perfect for picking up authentic souvenirs or simply soaking in the local atmosphere.
