After breakfast, leave the bustle of Athens behind and begin your journey into the myth and history of the Peloponnese. Your first stop is the Corinth Canal, an impressive 19th-century feat of engineering that slices through the Isthmus of Corinth to connect the Aegean and Ionian Seasāan idea once dreamed up by Emperor Nero himself over two millennia ago.

Day 4
Delphi to Meteora ā Mystical Paths and Monasteries in the Sky

Afterward, begin your return journey to Athens, traveling through scenic countryside and making a meaningful stop at Thermopylaeāsite of the legendary battle where King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans made their heroic last stand against the Persian army in 480 BC.
