Day 1 Chiang Mai Arrival, Free at leisure
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, meet and greet with your local tour guide and proceed to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free at leisure, enjoy hotel facilities or get the chance to explore the place.
Please note that hotel check in time is from 1400. Early check in is subject to hotel availability and with extra fee.
Day 2 Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai Day Tour
After early breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and get ready for a 3 hours land travel to Chiang Rai.
Chiang Rai is a charming and culturally rich province in northern Thailand that’s known for its friendly locals, beautiful natural scenery, and fascinating history. The province is home to several hill tribes, including the Akha, Karen, and Lahu, who have their own unique cultures and traditions.
1st stop. Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple, is a stunning contemporary Buddhist temple located in Chiang Rai. The temple was designed by famous Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and was built entirely with white concrete and glass, which gives it a unique and surreal appearance. The temple is filled with intricate murals and sculptures that depict traditional Buddhist stories and symbols, but with a modern twist. For example, the “Gate of Heaven” is guarded by mythical creatures and features contemporary images like a plane crashing into a building
and pop culture icons like Superman and Michael Jackson.
Visit Wat Rong Sue Ten, also known as the Blue Temple. This is also an important religious place of the province. The whole area is quite colorful, which attracts many tourists. All architectures are decorated in many tones of colors, for examples, blue, golden, orange, green etc.
Wat Huay Pla Kang, , One of the main attractions once inside the temple is a huge, magnificently carved wooden statue of Guan-Im Bhodisatva, which is a Chinese goddess of mercy and compassion.
On the return trip visit Wat Sang Kaew Phothiyan, It’s a relatively new temple complex, construction only began in 2010. It covers a large area and there is so much to see, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to explore this one.
End of tour, transfer back to Chiang Mai.
Day 3 Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon National Park
After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and get ready for the whole day tour.
Chiang Mai, Doi Inthanon National Park
Visit Doi Inthanon National Park. This stunning national park in Chiang Mai province is named after Thailand’s tallest mountain, Doi Inthanon, and its home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The park is famous for its rolling hills, scenic viewpoints, and waterfalls, including the impressive Wachirathan Waterfall and the Mae Klang Waterfall. Visitors to the park can also explore the Karen and Hmong hilltribes that live in the area and learn about their traditional way of life.
End of tour, transfer back to Hotel.
Day 4 Chiang Mai – Kanta Elephant Sanctuary, Temple Tour
After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and ready for the whole day tour.
Morning transfer to Kanta Elephant Sanctuary, offers visitors an enjoyable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home, as well as gain an insight into their history and behavior, and create cherished lifelong memories of their time spent with these amazing animals with friendly, happy elephants in a safe and sustainable environment. including elephant-watching, elephant-bathing, and elephant-feeding experiences. Leave Kanta Elephant Sanctuary.
Lunch at restaurant
Visit Wat Umong, there’s so much to explore at Wat Umong! The temple complex is quite large and includes several different areas, each with its own unique character and attractions. One popular area is the “Tunnel of Veneration,” which is a long, narrow tunnel that’s filled with hundreds of Buddha statues and carvings. Visitors can walk through the tunnel, lighting incense and praying to the statues as they go. Wat Chedi Luang is definitely a must-see when visiting Chiang Mai. A famous temple in the city of Chiang Mai. Despite the damage, the temple is still a stunning example of Lanna architecture, with intricate carvings and beautiful murals. Wat Chiang Man is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai, having been built in the late 13th century. Day 5 Chiang Mai Departure
After breakfast, free at leisure. Get ready for check out and meet your guide at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport for Departure.
