Day 1
Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (external view only), One Pillar Pagoda, THe Temple of Literature, Vietnamese Traditional Art of Water Puppetry)

Upon your arrival at Hanoi’s bustling airport, you will be warmly greeted by our local representative, who will escort you on an exciting half-day sightseeing adventure.

Your journey begins at the iconic Ba Dinh Square, an emblem of Vietnam’s history and culture. Here, you’ll pay homage to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, where the revered leader rests. While you explore the grounds, you’ll catch a glimpse of his former residence from the outside—an intriguing peek into the life of Vietnam’s founding father. Please note that the mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, as well as during the entire months of October and November.

Next, we’ll whisk you away to the serene One Pillar Pagoda, a stunning architectural marvel gracefully rising from the tranquil waters of a square lake. Its unique design symbolizes the lotus flower—a traditional symbol of purity in Vietnamese culture.

Our journey continues to the Temple of Literature, a majestic shrine dedicated to Confucius, which proudly houses the Imperial Academy, Vietnam’s first national university. Wander through its beautifully manicured gardens and ancient halls, steeped in the wisdom and knowledge of centuries past.

Meet your knowledgeable guide in the hotel lobby, and get ready to embark on a journey to the enchanting Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located 165 km to the east of Hanoi. Known as “Dragon Descending to the Sea” in Vietnamese, Halong Bay is a mesmerizing landscape of over 1,000 limestone islets that rise majestically from the emerald waters, many of which hide breathtaking grottoes waiting to be explored.

As you arrive, you’ll board a charming boutique wooden junk for your cruise on this stunning bay. Picture this: while you glide across the crystal-clear waters, a delectable seafood lunch will be served on board, allowing you to savor the flavors of the sea as you take in the panoramic views.

After lunch, we’ll begin our scenic journey back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel andDay 4 Hanoi Departure prepare for an afternoon filled with exploration.

Unwind with some free time for shopping in the bustling Hanoi Old Quarter. Stroll through narrow streets lined with quaint shops, local artisans, and vibrant stalls. Hanoi Departure
 
After a delightful breakfast to fuel your adventures, you’ll embark on a final transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Take a moment to reflect on the memories created during your journey, perhaps indulging in a last stroll through the vibrant terminal or picking up some last-minute souvenirs. Though the guide won’t be with you, the enchanting experiences you’ve gathered and the stories you’ll take home make this farewell a chapter to remember in your travel tale. Safe travels!
