Welcome to Hanoi!

Upon your arrival at Hanoi Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our local representative, setting the stage for your enchanting adventure in Vietnam’s vibrant capital. Get ready to embark on a half-day sightseeing tour that promises to immerse you in Hanoi’s rich history and culture.

Your journey begins at Ba Dinh Square, a monumental site that embodies the spirit of Vietnam. Here, you’ll pay your respects to Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum, witnessing the reverence with which the nation honors its beloved leader. Take a glance at his former residence, where history whispers through the air (please note: the mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and during the entire months of October and November, as well as all afternoons).

Next, prepare to be enchanted by the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a remarkable structure rising gracefully from the waters of a serene square lake. Its unique architecture, representing a lotus blossom, is a symbol of peace and tranquility.

As you continue your exploration, you’ll visit the Temple of Literature, a sacred haven dedicated to Confucius. This remarkable temple was home to Vietnam’s first national university and is a testament to the country’s deep-rooted respect for education and knowledge.

After a morning filled with wonder, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local cuisine that tantalizes your taste buds with the rich flavors of Vietnamese culture. Once you’ve checked into your hotel and had a moment to relax, it’s time to discover the vibrant charm of Hanoi.

Stroll through the historic streets of the Old Quarter, where every corner reveals a treasure trove of culture and commerce. Don’t miss the lively Dong Xuan Market, the grand Opera House, and the serene ambiance of Hoan Kiem Lake. Be sure to take a leisurely walk across the beautiful The Huc Bridge, visit the Thap But (Pen Tower), and soak in the tranquility at Ngoc Son Temple.

Feel free to indulge in some shopping at the local boutiques and artisan shops that pepper the Old Quarter, where you can find everything from handcrafted souvenirs to delicious street food.

As the sun sets, gather at a local restaurant for dinner, where the enchanting flavors of Vietnamese cuisine will delight you. The evening culminates with a performance of the traditional Vietnamese Water Puppetry—a unique art form that tells stories of rural life and folk tales through a mesmerizing display of puppets dancing on the water.
