Hanoi Arrival, Free at Leisure, Vietnamese Traditional Art of Water Puppetry

Upon your arrival at Hanoi Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our local representative who will assist you in transferring to your hotel for check-in. Take this opportunity to relax and unwind as you prepare for an exciting adventure.

Once you’re settled in, the day is yours to explore the vibrant streets of Hanoi at your own pace! Embark on a journey through the enchanting Hanoi Old Quarter, where narrow alleyways are alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of local life. Don’t miss the bustling Dong Xuan Market, a treasure trove of unique goods and delicious street food.

Stroll leisurely to Hoan Kiem Lake, where the serene green waters reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. Cross the picturesque The Huc Bridge to visit the iconic Ngoc Son Temple, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Vietnam. Day 2
Hanoi to Sa Pa (Lao Cai City, Cat Cat Village-Home of Black H’mong Ethnic People, Trekking down To Waterfall-Hydraulic Power Station)

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, savoring the local flavors before embarking on an exciting journey. At 7:00 AM, meet your friendly guide and driver in the hotel lobby as we set off for a remarkable 295-kilometer drive from Hanoi to Sapa. This scenic route takes us through five provinces and a vibrant city: Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, and Lao Cai—each offering a glimpse into the diverse landscapes and cultures of Vietnam.

As we travel, we’ll take a relaxing 30-minute break to stretch our legs and enjoy some refreshments halfway through our journey. By 11:00 AM, we’ll make our second comfort stop in Lao Cai city, where you can grab a quick snack or explore the local atmosphere before we continue our trek to Sapa.

By 1:00 PM, we’ll arrive in the enchanting town of Sapa, where you’ll be greeted by the colorful traditional costumes of the H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic communities. The vibrant sights and sounds of this cultural melting pot promise to captivate your senses as we prepare for an afternoon of exploration.

We’ll take a short drive to the gateway of Cat Cat village, nestled at the foot of the majestic Fansipan Peak. This charming village is home to the Black H’mong people and is set against a stunning backdrop of lush valleys.

Prepare for an immersive experience in the daily life of the villagers! Enjoy a leisurely trek down to the valley where you’ll discover a beautiful waterfall and a historic Hydraulic Power Station. As you stroll along, don’t forget to capture the picturesque scenes with photos at the bridge and waterfall that define this breathtaking landscape.

After approximately 2 hours of trekking (around 2.5 km), we’ll make our way back uphill to catch our transportation to return to Sapa.

After an exhilarating day filled with culture and nature, you’ll settle in for your overnight stay in Sapa, reflecting on the memories made and the stunning sights experienced. Prepare for another day of adventure and discovery in this magical region of Vietnam!

Day 3
Sa Pa, Fansipan Peak (Cable Car Ride at Muong Hoa Station, Muong Hoa Valley, Fansipan Pagoda, Roof of Indochina), Back to Hanoi

Step outside the hotel for a short stroll to the Muong Hoa Station, where your exciting journey begins! Board the charming train that will take you on a picturesque ride to the Fansipan Cable Car Station. As you travel, take in the breathtaking views of the Muong Hoa Valley—nature’s own masterpiece. Prepare for an exhilarating 7-minute ascent on the cable car, where you’ll be surrounded by soaring mountains and lush landscapes, enticing you to snap some great photos.

Once you reach the impressive altitude of 2800m, you’ll be greeted by an awe-inspiring panorama. Take your time to explore the enchanting surroundings, visit the serene pagoda nestled among the clouds, and soak up the atmosphere of this spiritual destination. For the adventurous at heart, embark on a trek up 600 steps—a rewarding 20-30 minute hike that leads you to the pinnacle of Fansipan. This is not just a hike; it’s an experience that offers unforgettable views and countless photo opportunities. Spend about 1.5 hours at the summit, relishing the feeling of standing atop the “Roof of Indochina.”

After taking in all the beauty, make your way back down via the cable car, descending with plenty of cherished memories and stunning photos. Once you return to Sapa Town, enjoy a well-deserved lunch, where you can relax and unwind after your morning adventure.

In the afternoon, savor some leisure time to explore Sapa Town at your own pace or simply relax in the ambiance of this charming locale.

At 14:30, it’s time to reunite with your guide and driver for your return journey to Hanoi. The ride back includes two comfortable breaks, allowing you to stretch your legs and reflect on the day’s awe-inspiring adventures.

As the sun sets over the horizon, you’ll arrive in Hanoi, where you can rest and reminisce about your incredible day at Fansipan, a day that will surely linger in your heart and memories for years to come. Overnight in Hanoi awaits you!

Day 4
Hanoi (Half Day City Tour), to Ha Long City

After indulging in a delightful breakfast at your hotel, it’s time to embark on a captivating adventure! Meet your friendly guide and driver in the hotel lobby, ready to unveil the treasures of Hanoi.

Your first stop is the iconic Ba Dinh Square, where you’ll pay your respects at Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. This monumental tribute to Vietnam’s beloved leader is a must-visit, particularly for history buffs. The mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and throughout October and November, so be sure to check the schedule. Nearby, you can admire Ho Chi Minh’s former residence from the outside, gaining insight into his life and profound impact on the nation.

Next, we’ll stroll to the enchanting One Pillar Pagoda, a stunning Buddhist structure that rises gracefully from the center of a serene square lake. This unique pagoda, with its lotus flower shape, symbolizes purity and represents Vietnam’s cultural heritage.

Continuing our cultural journey, we’ll visit the Temple of Literature, a beautiful temple dedicated to Confucius that also served as Vietnam’s first national university, the Imperial Academy. Wander through the tranquil gardens and admire the ancient architecture, immersing yourself in the scholarly ambiance that has inspired generations.

After a delicious lunch, we’ll pick you up from your hotel for an unforgettable road trip to Ha Long Bay, located 165 kilometers east of Hanoi. Known as one of Vietnam’s natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ha Long Bay is famous for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped with rainforests.

As we drive along scenic routes, keep your camera handy; the landscapes along the way are stunning! Upon arrival in Ha Long, check into your hotel and take some time to unwind. Breathe in the fresh coastal air and get ready for the magical experiences that await you in this breathtaking bay.

Your adventure begins with a short transfer to the pier where you’ll board a charming boat for a splendid 4-hour cruise through the breathtaking Ha Long Bay. As you glide over the emerald waters, feast your eyes on the stunning landscapes adorned with bizarre rock formations, each with its own story to tell. Marvel at iconic sights like Dinh Huong, the Incense Urn; Cho Da, the Stone Dog; and the famous Ga Choi, or Fighting Roosters, islands that seem to come alive in the daylight.

Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is often referred to as “the Dragon descending to the sea,” and you’ll soon understand why. The extraordinary beauty of this natural wonder is truly a sight to behold!

Your first stop on this enchanting journey is Thien Cung, or the Heaven Palace cave. Prepare to be captivated by the intricate formations and vibrant colors of this stunning cave, reputed as the most beautiful primitive cave in Ha Long Bay and celebrated as the longest dry cave in Asia. When the time comes, you’ll be transferred to Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight. This is your moment to reflect on your incredible journey and perhaps plan your next adventure—where will your travels take you next?
